Extra Curricular Thursday Learning Sessions

Learners are expected to commit to a 4 week unit of study. 

 

Full Day

  • 9:30 -3:00

  • snacks will be provided

  • please bring lunch

  • Students should be prepared/dressed for outdoor play

Morning Session

  • 9:30 -11:30

​

Afternoon Session

  •  1:00-3:00

  • a snack will be provided

Session Breakdown

​​Morning Sessions will focus on two of the following: 

  • drama

  • crafts

  • piano

  • creative play

  • financial literacy

  • creative writing

  • painting

​

Afternoon Sessions focus on Science and Technology:

  • direct instruction

  • exploratory think tank

  • experiments

  • coding

  • science fair projects

  • hands on projects

  • more to come!

Instruction in all core & non core subjects.

  • engaging curriculum

  • one on one instruction

  • small group instruction

  • instruction in the arts

  • field trips

  • morning devotional

  • recess/gym

  • extracurricular Thursdays

Most Trips will start at 11:30.*

Our trips are designed to :

  • spark curiosity

  • deepen students' understanding of the world around them

  • grow curiosity

  • explore

We will explore the following:

  • nature

  • visiting historical sites

  • diving into the wonders of science and art
